Rooftop Pool Preview at 1875 Mission

pool_mission

The gold address numbers have risen over at 1875 Mission, a former storage space that’s been transformed into 39 “L.A. chic” luxury condos. The building is situated on the same block as the Armory, between 14th and 15th Streets.

The project is modeled after a boutique hotel, complete with a rooftop pool and dog run. I’m in escrow on a condo across the way at 1587 15th Street, and took a photo of the rooftop from 15th Street’s roof deck. Here’s your preview of the pool with the hot pink awning (that’s the most blatant touch of L.A., I think) and the dog run:

1875 Mission will offer ten studios (up to 640 sq ft); 13 one bedrooms (up to 840 sq feet), and 16 two bedrooms (also up to 840 sq feet). The studios will reportedly start in the mid $600,000s, and two bedrooms will top out at $1.2M-$1.3M. (So yeah, we’re probably talking $1,000-$1,400/sq foot). There will be three design styles from which to choose.

They’re still finishing up the renovations and staging was finished last week. Expect the doors to open soon, and give me a shout if you’d like to take a tour! (ebermingham@zephrysf.com / 415.823.4656).
