French Chateau a Fab Find in St. Francis Wood

I toured 11 San Andreas in St. Francis Wood this week, and really loved the property. Designed by architects Masten and Hurd and built in 1932, the 4BR/2.5BA home is adjacent to the upper fountain and Eucalyptus Grove–two unique features in the neighborhood. There’s a lovely sunken living room with arched wood doors and high ceilings, as well as four bedrooms upstairs. And Thomas Church designed the yard and patio, which also includes a hot tub, lawn and wall fountain.

11 San Andreas was last sold in 2007 for $2,525,000. It’s currently listed at $2,275,000.

Open House Spotlight: 66 San Fernando Way

The sky may not be quite as blue as it looks in the above photo this weekend, but that shouldn’t stop you from visiting 66 San Fernando Way in St. Francis Wood on Sunday. The 5BR/3.5BA, Cape Cod-style home was designed in 1921 by Henry Gutterson, and is situated on a double lot. Check out the architectually impressive details and four fireplaces. List price: $1,925,000.

Open Sunday 3/20 from 2:00-4:00.
